Goto Keisen 後藤恵泉
An organizer of a “Tsurugi” ensemble of kembu (sword dance) and gin’ei (performances of samurai chants), as well as a keisenkan (director) of the Dairin shinto school. Mrs. Goto Keisen has possessed the seventh dan in the art of kembu and gin’ei under the register of the All-Japan Federation, as well as obtained a status of a gin’ei teacher (shihan).
She has also possessed the fifth dan (Nikkenren) in iaido, the art of sword play in a confined space, and the fourth dan of the Tamiya school. Mrs. Keisen Goto became a laureate of the “King Records” competition in the gin’ei and kembu nominations. Since 2003, she has participated nine times in the concerts of a festival “The Heart of Japan”, as well as frequently performed recitals and taught master classes in various cities of Russia. At the same time, Mrs. Keisen Goto has participated in the concerts of various sword dance schools and spouted poetry in Japan.
