"The Voice of Russia": "Sound Archetypes of Indo-European Commonness"

Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory hosted a unique international symposium that assembled famous scientists and musicians from France, Japan, Vietnam, Iran, Latvia, Belarus and Russia. And it was entitled “Sound Archetypes of Indo-European Commonness”.

 

Several wonderful concerts took place in the frame of this meeting: Iranian classical music - Hosein Nourshargh (voice) and group "Ghamar" (Iran), Early Christian Great Chant - Yegor Reznikoff (France), Traditional music of Iran - Beragojar Tahmasebian and Khezer Ghadergharmavi (Iran), Music of Vietnam - Tran Quang Hai (France), Russian folk traditions - Russian Folk Ensemble of the Moscow Conservatory (Russia).
